Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale (born on April 2, 1985) is an American professional basket ball player. She plays for Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. She was a college basketball player with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, after which she was drafted by the Wings as the 5th overall selection in the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale's father and mother Yolanda Ogunbowale & Gregory Ogunbowale were born March 2 1997 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mario Ogunbowale is her 26 year old brother and Dare Ogunbowale, 20 years older. Her parents spoiled her the most because she was the most young. Gregory, Gregory's father, worked as a soldier in the Nigerian Army. Ogunbowale comes from a lively family. Her mother Yolanda and brother Dare each played softball attending DePaul. Ogunbowale led her school to stunning victories with her extraordinary skills numerous times. With 73 high-school starts during her professional career, Ogunbowale scores 1,477 points and 739 rebounds. Ogunbowale was crowned gold at the 2013 U16 FIBA Americas Championships and 2014 FIBA U17 World Championships and 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championships. The USA Youth Olympic Team was announced as to the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team 7 July 2014. Ogunbowale was also selected on the ACC All-Freshman Team following her first collegiate year. Kobe Bryant himself congratulated Ogunbowale after the NCCA Tournament big shot. Even though she is still just a rookie she has made herself a top basketball star and is sure to follow her dream.
